At the beginning of the week, Sis. Hamner and Sis. Nelson went bowling with the KL missionaries and then went on splits for the afternoon. Later in the week, they met with the Galvez family and enjoyed a Filipino meal with them. "They are a really awesome family!"
If any of you know Sis. Hamner well, you know her love for Smoothie King. SO, you can imagine how sad she was to not have this deliciousness for 18 months, but never fear! She found a close competitor in PJ called Boost and she's in heaven!
Because of the Coronavirus in Asia, Malaysia and Singapore are being very proactive to keep it from spreading. One of the ways they have done this is by placing hand sanitizer at all the LRT stations and a lot of other public places. Also, their mission president, Pres. Woo, is asking all the missionaries to be extra careful by washing their hands more often, being smart about how they interact, and he has asked them to no longer shake hands or hug people...they can now only do
ELBOW BUMPS or place their hand over their hearts (an Eastern Malaysia tradition).
Sis. Hamner sends her love and thanks everyone for their love and support for her.
